I have never felt more spiritually awakened and connected to God than when I prayed salah in a mixed gender, mixed sect congregation led by a woman. I have never felt so united with my community. It just shows what a difference feeling safe, equal and included in our communities can mean to us. Inshallah I will have many more chances to pray with my queer Muslim family.
